Jonathan, only when we allow God to fully do a work in our own lives, will we be able to fully love others as we are commanded to do. Too many times, we try to hold on to things that God needs to change — this keeps us from living the life that he intended for us, and causes harm as you spoke of above. God is doing a work in you that will impact not just you, but those whom he puts in your path.

Jamie- I saw where you had posted on FB about reading that book. It looks interesting! Perhaps once I finish the Sarah Palin book, which could be a while since again– I’m a slow reader.

Aunt Carol- Jealous!! I would love to hear him speak.

And Katie, yes- isn’t that a cool video? I’m currently 9 pages into the Sarah Palin book so I don’t really know what to say- but I suspect it will be very interesting. And the pictures are cool too. Ha- I sound like I’m 9 years old. I’ll let you barrow it when I’m done because I know you’re DYING to read it

jonathan!!! go to the crazy love website and look at the video that is like… i dunno how to explain it. but it makes you look at how small we are in comparrison to the rest of the earth. it’s super way cool.

and about the new palin book. i’m unimpressed.

but you could have guessed that…

I am still trying to read crazy love. I am on chapter five and for some reason I have lost intrest. But you know what? You have inspired me to pick it up again. Thanks Johnny! When you get done with the SP book you are reading you should read telling secrets by Fredrick beuchner It is amazing! Any tiny, only 100 pages! Give it a whirl.
